To Do

You would be amazed how much there is to do in this small town. Did you know Kendal has its own climbing wall, ski slope, crown green bowling, pitch and putt, golf courses, leisure centre, snooker club, cricket grounds, squash court and a rugby stadium?

Its simply fantastic to think that all this takes place in our town, but that’s not all. We have parks a plenty, glorious green spaces, woodland trails and not forgetting the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal Museum and Quaker Tapestry.

Kendal Ski Slope

Formed in 1984 by a group of volunteers with the principle of skiing for anyone who wants to have a go. This was, still is, and always will be, the foundation stone of the club. All the members each donated £10 to get started and a slope and a ski lodge was built on the hill below Kendal Castle.
